I am an Autistic self-advocate, author, public speaker and mentor. I have published three books with Jessica Kingsley Publishers on elements of Autism. I am also an artist and poet. I have spoken at a large number of events including for TEDx Canberra in 2013, with Professor Temple Grandin in 2015 and as a keynote speaker at the Aspect Autism in Education Conference 2016 and at the Victorian Autism Conference and the Asia Pacific Autism Conference in 2015, My interests in writing include employment, education, women on the Autism spectrum, mental health and resilience. My media appearances include the documentary Alone in a Crowded Room on ABC Compass program in 2010 and on Radio National Life Matters (twice) and the ABC Radio National 'All in the Mind' program. I have been featured in the Canberra Times and in ABC Online as well as in a variety of Autism, psychiatry and health magazines, I run a women's support group. I am ACT Volunteer of the Year 2016. Sometimes I sleep :)
