Andrea Pirondini was born in Turin in 1965, grown in Milan and lived in Istanbul from 2006 to 2008 together with his family.
The author is a keen observer and photographer who developed the project for this book during some enjoyable week ends walking through various parts of the city and coming across unique people and situations.
Since the beginning of 2011 he is living in Moscow.
