Acerca del libro
The best way to capture humanity through photography is to find those moments that show the shared traits of all peoples. Document the common denominators that reveal that despite our cultural differences or social backgrounds, at our core we all feel and see and emote in a similar fashion. It is these common features that reveal what it means to be human and their pursuit should be the goal of all documentary photography.
David Brody spent two months driving all around America (and a little bit of Canada) to photograph everyday people doing everyday things. This book represents his attempt to seek out those moments of shared humanity.
