Acerca del libro
Do our memories hold truths, or distortions? How would the people of Britain respond to a Biblical deluge? Was the flouridisation of tap water a rehearsal for something far more sinister?
These are some of the questions raised in DRIFTWOOD, Benjamin Norris' debut novel; a spiralling, nebulous collection of confessions and monologues.
Norris introduces his characters to a world of coincidence and causality, and sits back to hear what they have to say (that is, if the sound isn't drowned out by the heavy falling of rain)...
"The prospect of a complete novel from the writer of A View From A Car Park is an exciting one indeed" (XBerliner Magazine)

Benjamin Jiva Dasa Norris is a young writer and freelance journalist from Bristol, England, currently living and working in various parts of Europe. Benjamin’s main sources of inspiration come from his immediate surroundings, and the injection of small facets of magical or spiritual contents into otherwise mundane settings. His fascination with Ancient Indian texts is evident throughout the majority of his work, but more recently influences have seeped in from other global narrative cultures, mainly those of Romany and Baltic origin. Benjamin has recently released his debut novel 'Driftwood', after previously publishing a collection of short stories.
