Acerca del libro
'Kathaa kahe so kathak'
'to tell a story, that is kathak'
A celebration of the colour and vitality of the rhythms and forms of Indian classical Kathak dance. The photographic images and design and sequencing of the book reflect the way Kathak dance performance is composed, with repeated time-cycles and recited 'bols' or rhythmic words being an integral part of the performance.

I work with photography, using traditional and digital techniques to create photographic images which portray the essence of my chosen subject. I am particularly interested in dance, the human figure, and landscape. The three are often intertwined. I tend to create images in series, so find the book form very appropriate for my work. I have until now made my own books to display my work and am now very excited by the prospect of creating more through Blurb.
