Acerca del libro
The world around us is captured every day by the general public through simple point and shoot cameras, video cameras, even cell phone cameras. People are obsessed with capturing the world around them; maybe out of fear that those moments will disappear if they do not.
The pictures in this book represent my poetry on the world around me. They are all set up the way I want them, each representing aspects of my life. They take me far from the world that I found bland growing up. When I found the camera as means of self expression I felt the urge to comment on growing up as a girl in Los Angeles. I find such beauty in the preadolescent state and have become obsessed with the transition from that to the conciousness of adulthood. I attempt with every image to fuel some kind of raw emotion in the mind of the viewer.
