Gloria Krolak is the host of Good Vibes, the first and only broadcast program to feature the vibraphone, a percussion instrument which found its jazz voice in the 1930s with Lionel Hampton and Red Norvo. She is also poetry editor of Rhythm & Rhyme in Jersey Jazz, the monthly magazine of the New Jersey Jazz Society.
Ed Berger is a freelance journalist and photographer who has been associated with the Rutgers Institute of Jazz Studies for some forty years. He is author or co-author of several books, most recently Softly With Feeling: Joe Wilder and the Breaking of Barriers in American Music. His photographs have appeared on many album covers but this is his first compilation in a book.
