Being in Paris is the result of Lila Sparks-Daniels' 20 years of annual visits to Paris where she has become more and more involved in the lives of those around her: friends, commercants at the markets where she regularly shops, language instructors, musicians. She has experienced such generosity that she is eager to share her impressions.
Lila is inspired by the works of French photographers: Brassai, Robert Doisneau, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and Willy Ronis. Following their lead she is drawn to people going about their daily lives in the most beautiful city in the world. Join her.......!

Since 1966, Lila Sparks-Daniels has visited over 43 countries with camera in hand. Her images reflect her curiosity about the human condition and the ways cultures address basic life questions. Lila returns to Paris for 1-3 months each year, renting apartments in 9 of its 20 arrondissements. She knows Paris well thanks to the warmth and generosity of her Parisian friends. In 2005 she retired as CEO of an international consulting firm to pursue her dual passions of photography and........being in Paris.
