Acerca del creador
I studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, completing a four year degree course in Fine Art in the department of Drawing and Painting in 1986. During the foundation year at Art College I was introduced to 35mm film photography and given the opportunity to learn developing and printing techniques. I really enjoyed these classes and was lucky enough to be taught by Joseph McKenzie, regarded by many as the ‘Father of Modern Scottish Photography’. I have continued to be interested in photography ever since - and now enjoy exploring the creativity possible using digital techniques. I am particularly interested in infrared photography and have recently been accepted as a member of the League of Creative Infrared Photographers. Photography has renewed my wonder in the detail found in nature - it always challenges my preconceptions and constantly surprises you with its beauty.
