Acerca del libro
June 16, 2015 marked the 50th anniversary of the flood that overflowed the banks of the South Platte River in Littleton, Colorado. It also marks the beginning of many changes that eventually led to the formation of South Platte Park. This book is the first in a series of books remembering what happened during, immediately after, and years after that day, and how those events affected the land, the animals, and the people. The quotes in this book are by those who were there during the days leading up to, during, and after the flood. The profits from each book and eBook go to the South Platte Park Education Fund benefiting students who wouldn't otherwise be able to enjoy school programs at the Park.
