Acerca del libro
After many years of trying to comprehend the authenticity of the occupation that is increasingly more and more in style in the art world, that of the curator, I finally succumbed with this project where I am not only co-author but also co-curator. To discover the countless connections between Adrian’s work and mine revealed to both of us how akin we were in our observations of the world from two distinctive perspectives, using different techniques, and capturing geographic locations that are very disparate.
The result is a series of photographs that can be seen as diptychs in which no photograph has protagonism over an other, color does not compete with black & white, and experience is not an advantage over the freshness of a new vision. These images interrelate, have a dialogue, and support each other to form between them a single complementary discourse not only on an aesthetic level but also from a conceptual perspective that consolidates a very narrow union.
