Acerca del libro
Announcing the completion and sale of my book titled “Everyday Sightings.” This book is the result of an ongoing project which documents the elaborate, complex, and quirky world that I see every day. The images are of people, places, and objects that are frequently overlooked or instantly forgotten as we move through a world of rapid-fire stimulation and self-absorption. For instance, a lost shoe in Washington, DC, a vegetable stand in Hardeeville, SC, a roadside billboard announcing “Dinosaur World” in Plant City, FL, and a guy dressed as Uncle Sam wearing red shoes in Atlanta, GA. With this project, I strive to showcase the sometimes under-appreciated, and even unexpected, beauty of the everyday world. I pulled these images from a kaleidoscope of “everyday sightings” and said, “Hey! Take a second look!”
