Royal and Clara Stone live through many eras. Both born in Utah around the turn of the century, they saw the advent of modern age invention, while still rubbing shoulder wight he old pioneers who had settled the arid foothills of Utah.
Raised on farms in a family of blue-collar smelter and mining workers, Royal was the opposite of Clara, a well-off city girl. She love performing on the stage, while Royal's passion lay in teaching boys to build, Camp, and be good citizens.
In spite of their differences, their union created a perfect combination of frugal living and artistic endeavor that provided for interesting family storers that took place throughout the United States as Royal worked for the Boy Scouts of America.
Their stories were their history, and it was that history that made them who they were, and continues to form the lives of their rich posterity.
