Acerca del libro
Slice of Life is the title of this new book that includes an essay by Anne C. Coon and a select portfolio of paintings and prints that were made from 1997 to the present. Anne C. Coon’s writing details Alan Singer’s exploration of art and mathematics and how these new directions have changed the look of his artwork. There is a progression of images first made from life, and then there is a switch – to abstraction and the use of a computer as a tool to make art. Color and composition as well as surprising qualities that visualization software can offer are the key words to describe Alan Singer’s art.
