Acerca del libro
There is a long tradition of community rodeo in the southwest and the organization of these events fell to local citizen groups such as the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club. Located in Paris, Texas, the PRHC has hosted their local rodeo for more than 50 years.
Members of the community, young and old, participate in the rodeo parade and the grand entry where "Old Glory" and the Texas state flag are flown with pride. Teenagers take the time to flirt and show off their latest cowboy fashions while families sit in the stands and enjoy the show.
And of course, there are the professionals, who come to compete, and if they are lucky, take home a little cash.
This book is my impression of this event.
