Acerca del creador
Robin Reva, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, began her art career at an early age----the sixth grade. She pinpoints it to the day a new family car arrived. With the car came a subscription to the Ford Times Magazine. “It was filled front to back with a variety of reproductions from artists. I waited each month to see what artists were doing. I would sit on my bedroom floor and recreate some styles and concepts starting with a cheap set of watercolors. I thought the watercolor illustrations were emotional and that was what I wanted to learn.” Robin's work can be seen in collections throughout the U.S. and in many corporate hallways in Michigan. People remember her most notably for beach and abstract watercolors painted for the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel restoration through Dorothy Draper Interiors, NY. She completed 63 originals for the corporate hallways and penthouse suites. A prior speaker for the art and framing trade and newly retired art school teacher, she creates in South Haven, MI.
