Acerca del libro
That weekend I drove to the sites. Upon arriving I set up the 4x5 camera and as I was peering through the ground glass under a black cloth I heard vehicles approaching. I pulled off the black cloth only to be greeted by 2 military jeeps with mounted machine guns pointed at me as one soldier approached with gun drawn. He questioned me at length while they ran a background check while forcing me to stand with my hands in the air for 45 minutes in high winds. He then told me to pack up and leave, “no photographs were allowed”. I packed up my gear and drove away.
