Acerca del libro
We save our children’s first tooth, curl of hair, booties, and awards. But what about all the wonderful things they share with us each and every day?
When my children were young, I feared I would forget their musings. To remedy this problem, I wrote down their spoken thoughts on miscellaneous scraps of paper and I stuffed them into my desk drawer to be organized by my future self.
Years later, I finally organized their quotes. What a mess, but their quotes were saved!
To spare other families this dilemma, I decided to make an inspirational quote journal by combining selected quotes and photos I had taken during their childhood to create a creative template for others to use.
Just recently, my now teenage daughter was re-reading her childhood quotes and she was amazed with her past self. Yes, I assured her, little people do have big thoughts!

Acerca del creador
Sarah McEneany is an award winning portrait and fine art photographer. She began her commercial photography career in 1986 and her clients have included major advertising agencies, corporations and individuals. By 1996, after the birth of her first child, Sarah took photographs of her daughter, but was soon highly sought after to photographs the most important people in her client’s lives: their children and extended family members. Sarah’s portraits are widely recognized for their authenticity and beauty. While she is a keen observer, Sarah believes a portrait is given rather than taken: it is collaboration between her and her subject. Many of her portrait assignments and personal projects focus on children and families. Both her portraits and fine art images have been exhibited, published and collected nationally. Sarah lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her husband, Robert Lewis Smith, also a photographer, and their two children: Mimi and Liam McEneany Smith.
