Acerca del creador
As an internationally recognised professional artist, Charles is highly regarded for his unique vision and versatility in watercolour. For the past 25 years, Charles has been a passionate teacher of watercolours, leading workshops in Australia and around the world. While Charles' works often feature both oil and acrylic, his passion is for watercolour. His work is loose, bold and free, making watercolour painting seem deceptively easy and also masking the careful thought and planning that underpins his work. He may be considered a rebel when it comes to traditional methods and approaches to watercolour painting, but Charles sees himself as a champion of the medium, striving constantly to raise its status and the awareness of its versatility. In 2012 he also co-authored a book for publishers Walter Foster titled 'Contemporary Watercolors'.
