Acerca del libro
Foreword
We met Glenda Chapman in the spring of 2012 when we began to volunteer at the Rockport Engagement Center in Rockport, Indiana. Glenda immediately impressed us with her witty humor, positive attitude, and genuine care for others. Glenda credits her writing, a passion only begun a year prior, as a catalyst in her growth to the person she is today. Glenda found writing as a way to express herself in a very transparent and human manner. This, along with her personal relationship with God, has helped to heal, patch, and clean many past personal wounds. It was through her expression in writing that we began to understand that Glenda's powerful wisdom speaks through her experiences.
Glenda is not a woman who has a disability, she is a woman who embraces a disability—and encourages all to do the same. Glenda's writings, while currently in the infancy stage, need to be shared as a powerful witness to her courage and strength. We pray her words may inspire and encourage you to, with the help of God, embrace your own personal disabilities and see them not as a barrier but as a bridge to others. Glenda's powerful, personal writings have helped her blossom
into a true advocate for anyone with a disability. We pray you may do the same.
