Acerca del libro
Simulation of interactive virtual spaces aims at exploring the potential of spatial information visualisation in the context of digital archaeology. Increasingly, digital media surrounds us in our everyday lives, facilitating interactive information exchange and collaboration worldwide. New technologies offer a wide range of possibilities for connecting formerly scattered or isolated information sources, thereby increasing archaeological data accessibility. A virtual model of the Queen Meresankh III Mastaba in Giza, Egypt has been used as a case study to show how interactive simulation tools can be utilised for archaeological visualisations.
