Acerca del libro
In 1980, the author bought a second-hand Canon F-1 camera that thirty years later was still fully functioning and being used regularly. This book is a sample of the photographs captured using Canon F-1 serial number 229219.
Choosing a few hundred photographs to represent 30 years of work was difficult and, in the end, came down to including personal favourites as well as trying to represent all the various subjects that were captured using this camera. Many other images taken over this time period have already been published in a number of Blurb books. An attempt has been made, where possible, to arrange the pictures so that those on the same or facing pages have something linking them together - sometimes this is the subject, colours, composition, shapes, or even something more subtle.
Unless otherwise stated, all of the images in this book were taken on colour transparency film
