Acerca del libro
Jennifer Brucker uses images to document her past experiences with depression, eating disorders, and self injury. The book expresses the suffering she experienced looking back on several years of her life. The images are powerful and meant to relay the emotional pain a self-injurer is going through. They also convey that despite the severity of her disorders there is hope for those who are currently suffering from self-injury and eating disorders to recover. Jennifer is proof the one can recover from self-injury and severe depression and released these extremely personal images in an effort to raise awareness and understanding.
