Acerca del libro
In this work I draw on memories of my childhood growing up in southern Louisiana, and the breakdown of my own immediate and extended family.
The objects collected and depicted range from personal family heirlooms, discarded photographs from Hurricane Katrina, trash, childhood possessions and found objects.
Like memories we can choose to forget or remember, I embed chosen memories into my Objects to preserve their existence.
