Acerca del libro
In July 2009, Tad Dobbs launched “The Squall Line,” the companion blog to Creative Squall, a graphic design firm specializing in branding. With the launch of the blog came the beginnings of a year-long project revolving around music, sketching and, most importantly, creative ideas. The sketch of the day provided insight into the process behind Creative Squall’s work, as well as a creative outlet for the principal.
“Synesthesia” chronicles the project from beginning to end. Inside you’ll find all 366 sketches organized into common reoccurring themes, as well as finalized posters, shirts and prints. Many of the emails that bands and management sent during the course of the year are included to provide a unique behind-the-scenes look into the daily drawing.
