Acerca del libro
Traffic in India can be slow-moving at the best of times, with short journeys from one part of town to another often taking hours, while people, cattle, taxis, motorbikes and buses all battle against each other to reach their destinations.
One cannot help but notice the amount of activity on the roads, from beggars peering into car windows, to children dangerously dodging cars as they attempt to cross busy streets, to traders selling a whole plethora of goods at all hours of the day and night.
India: From The Inside contains a selection of images taken from the inside of vehicles or buildings looking out onto the streets of India, observing the busy (and sometimes serene) world as it passes by – with just a pane of glass separating the photographer and subjects from each other.
