Acerca del libro
Sandra Garzón Villarreal captures the infinitesimal details, sweeping vistas and startling colors of the world around her with a sense of delight and effortless serendipity. With each click of the shutter, time stops. The subject, the color, form, line and texture - everything seems to expand and take up much more of my perception. It's as if the microsecond becomes eternity, and the more it grows, the richer it becomes, the more there is to see and the more it makes me feel. She stills the rushing-by of the everyday, preserving the countless treasures we miss in our hurry to make appointments and meet goals, pay bills and attend to the endless demands of our lives.
This collection gave me an opportunity to remember how joy can suffuse a single moment, one perception, and how that can change the experience of every moment that follows.
