Acerca del libro
In KUANTIKA each image was created by stopping a computer generated script at a given point. Each frame of the script was viewed as a potential painting. Once the random generation was stopped, the resulting image was further intervened to obtain the final product.
Randomness is at the core of KUANTIKA, where ideas have been borrowed from quantum physics, especially from the area that postulates that the behavior of particles may not follow our “space-time” universe, and that everything has to be viewed using “possibilities equations” to potentially get closer to “what is”.
Although KUANTIKA is a product of several months of intervention and digital manipulation, most of this visual project is centered around finding images that emerge from a realm of randomness, and are an expression of that world.
Some concepts and ideas that guided me in the development of this first collection:
Digital action / Corporative scrip collage / Virtual informalism / Random cubism / Painting and mental performance / Intuitive versus numerical possibilities / The action of choice, the possibility, is never the same / Plan = script generated particles + chaos = choice of conscience / Visual registration of a moment / Simultaneous plan – chaos.

Acerca del creador
Ricardo Jabardo is an allegoric artist, a surreal humorist and a digital performer. In his art he has used a variety of techniques, including collage and digital media, to express intense symbolic messages for many years. His graphic works include scenic situations representing the drama and the contradiction of life. They are like a play in which the actors and characters have escaped in search of their roles. Jabardo is a natural impulse translator. In his work his style is continuously changing as his concepts evolve. Jabardo’s work has spanned from the creation of corporate identities, illustrations and 3D Animations for TV-programs and commercials to animated short films exhibited in festivals in Europe and North and South America, all the way to paintings shown in galleries in and around Atlanta. Born in Venezuela. He received his Masters in Fine Arts in 1994 from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 1999 he moved to Georgia,USA
