Acerca del libro
This book tells the story of that four-week trip to New Zealand after 23 hours of flight across several countries and time zones.
The narrative unfolds through a series of landscape photographs that aim to convey in fleeting impressions the sense of wonder at being in a strange land on the other side of the world.
All the images were made using simple rangefinder film cameras, and the negatives edited and printed in Ian's Dorset darkroom.

Acerca del creador
I am a photographer, working mostly with landscape and using both film and digital cameras. For many years most of my images were in black and white and printed in the darkroom at my home in Dorset, England, where I have lived for nearly 30 years. Recently, however, I have also developed a passion for digital colour photographs, while maintaining my film work. Whether film-based or digital, all images are printed to the highest standards in my darkroom or light-room. I have been involved in many exhibitions over the past years, mostly in the south-west of England. I have worked both with other photographers, and with artists working in a variety of media including paint, sculpture and textiles.
