Astrid Luise Harriet Hellmuth took drawing and painting classes at the Art League in Alexandria, VA, EUA for two years, starting in 1993. In 1994 and 1995 she worked with printmaking, papermaking and artists books at Pyramid Atlantic, Riverdale, MD, EUA. She has been taking photography classes at Ateliê da Imagem, Rio de Janeiro, since 2010. She took the post-graduate course in photography at Cândido Mendes University and studied Art and Philosophy at the Catholic University (PUC). Since 2012 she has been developing a continuing work in photography and contemporary arts under artist Marcos Bonisson supervision. Bonisson used to visit my mother Lucia Reis and I regularly. Since she died last year, unfortunately, Mr. Bonisson´s orientation finished.
