Acerca del creador
My passion for photography was ignited in 1968 with the purchase of a Nikon FTn single lens reflex camera. Thirty years later I became an enthusiastic digital photographer with the purchase of Nikon's first 1-megapixel camera. The freedom that camera gave me to experiment and learn, combined with my love of nature and of children, has led me to focus my efforts in two distinctly different areas. I love the serenity of nature, nature’s interaction with man, and man’s interaction with nature. I also love the innocence of children, their curiosity about and interaction with their environment. My focus now is the urban landscape. For the past 3 years I have explored the death and rebirth of the Midwesr industrial city, documenting once productive factories in varying stages of abandon and decay, or enjoying a renaissance of adaptive reuse.
