Acerca del libro
Every reader will have their own favourites: the choices run from the twist in the tale of the ‘London Hit’ and ‘A Right Royal Affair’; from the emotions evoked by the ‘Ninth Life’ and ‘Dream Cottage’; to the ethereal qualities of ‘The Ring of Hermaphrodites’ and ‘The Choice’. Of the sixteen tales, ‘The Big C’ is autobiographical.
The final stories, ‘Two Whimsical Tales from a Scottish Isle’ are founded on the author’s deep affection for Skye and the Hebrides, its people and its culture and the plots unfold with humour to conclude in a rollicking good read.
