Acerca del libro
There is very little that is romantic about spending countless hours traveling on planes or waiting in airports. Only occasionally is it fun to be lost, very rarely is it desirable to have your things stolen (see I Believe I was Robbed by a Monkey), and I’d say it’s next to never enjoyable to get food poisoning. But venture out into the world we do, leaving behind all the comforts of our homes, lives and loved ones.
My trip began in Finland, followed with the trans-Siberian train through Russia, there was a horse in Mongolia, another train into China, a stint in Thailand, a float through Laos and an experience in Cambodia I still haven’t wrapped my head around. I began with no clear purpose or intention of what I was doing, hoping to accomplish or even where I was going (much like with this book). It turned out to be a bunch of randomness, a few shenanigans, a bit of debauchery and some plain old general amusement.
