Acerca del libro
Celebrating John and Barbara Days' marriage 1959-2009
Barbara Cooper and John Day met in Oldham, Lancashire, in England in the 1950's and married in October 1959.
On August 29th 2009, two hundred friends and family members gathered in Ballinderreen, Co Galway in Ireland to celebrate with them their fifty years of marriage, and to witness John and Barbara renew their marriage vows at a celebration Mass in their local church.
It was indeed a truly golden day;the sun shone through till evening, and all had a splendid time sharing old memories, making new friends, and showing the still-happy-couple how much they love and admire them.
This book holds a series of photographs recording Barbara and Johns' Golden Wedding Party at their home in Ballinderreen, where friends and family were witness to their continued happiness, love and commitment. An "inspirational couple" as one guest described them, they were generous in their love to each other, and in their hospitality to their guests.
May they have many more golden years ahead.
