Acerca del libro
Chroma is based on a real dog named Brady, a German Wirehaired Pointer who acted like he saw monsters whenever a hunter fired a gun. Chroma was ridiculed as a hunting dog, abandoned, then found glory catching flying disks. But no one knew why he hated the sound of a gun until an incident during a disk competition revealed what goes on in a dog's mind to his trainer. Author Lynda Demsher has worked with generations of wirehaired pointers but never had one quite like Brady. He was adopted from the High Plateau Humane Society in Alturas, California, after he was turned in with 10 littermates and an older half-brother by a backyard breeder who couldn't handle the puppies anymore. All of Brady's littermates found good homes
