Acerca del libro
I would like to dedicate this book to my mother, who has loved me unconditionally; I’d also like to recognize and dedicate it to those who continuously encouraged and inspired me to listen to my gut and explore my true self. During this journey, I met a few extraordinary souls, and would like to extend my most heartfelt thanks to them for being in my life.
Thanks to Bob Duffy, Guy Bouchet for your coaching and mentorship; Horace Whittlesey, for inspiring me with your life passion in travel and photography; Raphael Bick, for bringing me the best and most memorable travel and life experiences and for making me a better person; Shanyi Shen and Niandong Wang, for encouraging me to write my first book; Joe Amato, for challenging and improving my thoughts and ideas; Kelly Gushue, Hiroko Osaka, Jian Wei, Daphne Li, for continuously offering your warm help and friendship; Michael McReavey, for your stunning photos that will forever be the high bar for my photography; David Zhang, Daniel Tu, Abby Chen, Linda Luo for walking with me in my art venture; Gabriel Taylor, for editing my book.
Last but not least, I would like to thank my friends from Brazil, Bella Araújo and Daniel Gras, for bringing me a brand new chapter in my life and a new perspective to look at and experience happiness.

Acerca del creador
Travel and photography were simple hobbies to me at the very beginning. I documented details of my travels and those then-perceived "important" life events. Over the years, as I matured along my travel journey, I realized there was much more to travel and photography than I’d originally suspected, as they continuously brought me depth of thought, feeling and wisdom to look at life and the relationship between myself and the world. It was a meaningful process. As much as I love to search the mind, spirit and soul during my journeys, I pay equal attention to the simple beauty in daily life: a good conversation, a hearty laugh, a gasp of morning air, a taste of freshly cooked potatoes, a glance of the pure blue in the sky, just to name a few. I learned over the years that happiness is a state of mind; it can be easily achieved although sometimes it might look difficult. I feel lucky to have met so many people that continuously inspired me. Thanks for viewing my photo books...
