Acerca del libro
In 1974, Will and Laurie Fulton founded a little school in Eureka Springs with a vision of approaching education in a different way than what had become traditional. They believed that children should be actively engaged with learning in a way that was enjoyable and drew fom their natural curiosity and imagination. They wanted students to learn, above all, that learning could be fun. In this way, they would become eager, lifelong learners.
What began as a one-room classroom with a handful of students has become a thriving progressive school know in national education circles as "The Miracle in the Woods."
This book is a photographic tribute to the earliest years of Clear Spring School.
