Acerca del libro
"Memories of a Country Boy" recounts the story from a child's perspective about growing up on a farm near Evansville, Indiana during the Gay Nineties. Written by John Aloysious Miller and edited by Jennifer Bickel, granddaughter of Miller's sister Helen, the story describes in detail, the seasons, farm life, personal stories and comments as seen through the eyes of a child and recounted in the words of an old man. In researching the Miller family history, Bickel comes across the nondescript document and begins the project of making the manuscript available to the Miller descendants. Miller's desire is to make this account available to his grandchildren and Bickel provides them the opportunity through scanned images of the original document, personal family photos and other references in context.
