Acerca del libro
Curated by Darius Himes
Time Exposure 1 is the first issue of an annual publication featuring current work by the photography students of the New Mexico State University Art Department. The photography area offers a rigorous program of course work to students pursuing either undergraduate or graduate level studies. Each year junior and senior undergraduate students participate in the Photography Workshop course which functions as both a critique seminar and a professional development primer. Students pursue independent creative work with the intent of producing a group of images that exhibit conceptual engagement, thematic unity and technical proficiency. Graduate students participate in their own seminar course with similar intent. This book showcases a representative sample of their collective efforts.
