Martin Holland is a multimedia journalist based in the UK. He combines photography, moving image, and the written and spoken word to document the world we live in. This is his first book and is published as an accompaniment to television and radio documentaries about the conservation issues facing Rodrigues.
The whole project was a solo endeavour, with photographs, film and audio all recorded in a four week period during Spring 2009 with the help of Shoals Rodrigues and the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation.
