This is Ryan E. Holman's first poetry anthology. She has previously had poetry appearing in the Silver Spring/Takoma Park Voice and was featured in the Third Thursday Takoma Park Reading Series in May 2007 & November 2008, as well as at Artomatic 2009. While she has been writing poetry on and off for a long time, she has recently come to find her voice in writing about day-to-day life through the lens of the elements.

Ryan E. Holman is a data-entry worker bee by day to finance her moonlighting as a poet. She has previously had work appearing in the Silver Spring Voice in December 2006 and April 2007, and has been featured in the Takoma Park Third Thursday Poetry Reading Series in May 2007 and November 2008 and is a regular at the same series' open mic nights. She has also appeared at Artomatic 2009, a massive multimedia community art show.
