Acerca del creador
Guro Brandon Ricketts was born and raised in Manila,Philippines. He began his martial arts training back in 1996 at the age of 3 years old. He was first trained in the art of boxing, learning the basic punches and defenses in the art. At the age of 10 years old, Guro Brandon was introduced to the style of Sagasa and Kali Ilustrisimo taught to him by his Father; the late Grandmaster Christopher Ricketts (also known as one of the five pillars of Ilustrisimo) and his older brother Master Bruce Ricketts. In 2013 and 2014, Guro Brandon competed in the Cold Steel Challenge Single Stick Division and placed 3rd in both years. His style in sparring relies solely on footwork and dodges thanks to his father and brother's teachings. Guro Brandon is still currently instruction in the San Diego area with assistance from his senior students.
