Acerca del creador
Born in 1941, I was raised the oldest of five in Grand Forks, North Dakota. In 1958 my father gave me my first camera; A Nikon S rangefinder with a brass Tessar lens. I graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1964 and moved to Seattle with my new wife. Joining the Army in 1966, I graduated from Officer Candidate School as a 2nd Lieutenant and in 1967 was sent to Vietnam as an officer in the Army Signal Corp . My schedule enabled me to photograph quite a bit. See my book Vietnam: 1967-1968. Back home, I got a degree in Counseling & Guidance and took a job in a school in western Nebraska. I didn't get back to photography until I moved to California. There, I developed an interest in photographing car design be it a hot rod, classic car, or race car.
