I bought a hardcover copy as a present for a teacher friend, and a softcover one for myself. Really strikes a chord with me.

You're right, it's the PDF spread out, gift book style. Yeah, the $16 price for the hard cover is high. The softcover is a low as it can possibly be. Thanks for wanting to support the book!

I'm confused, is this article an excerpt from an actual book? As a first year teacher this hit a chord with me and I'd like to buy this to show the author some support. I just can't fathom spending $16 if it just the free 15 page PDF file available for free re-formatted to be stretched out to 92 pages in softcover format.
