Acerca del libro
As I traveled from Santiago in the south to Havana in the north, I met and photographed many wonderful people. I was part of a people-to-people cultural exchange group that also visited Granma island, Baracoa, Duaba, Holguin, Camaguey and Remedios during the twelve day journey. Although very poor by American standards, I found the people of Cuba to be extremely friendly, happy, proud and out-going. I saw no violence, heard no anger, and felt no fear. Many of them expressed they are eagerly awaiting the changes that will come from improved relations with the US. This was an enlightening trip and I think I benefited immensely from it.
The purpose of this book is to present the lives of the Cuban people I encountered through environmental photographs and individual portraits.

Retired from the aerospace industry, I now pursue a passion I've had for many years - photography. I am essentially a generalist as I dabble in several photographic genre, not ready to settle on one niche. I work in landscapes, portraits, macro, nature, architecture and candid images, trying to better my craft.
