Acerca del libro
mari omori has created a group of sculptures to memorialize the lives lost to the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami of 2011. The sculptures, which are carved in wax and cast in bronze at a foundry in Bastrop, Texas, are given a green patina in their final form. As individual works, the sculptures are conceived as bells, which in Japanese culture enjoy a long tradition.
