Experiencing the Tokyo subway, particularly during rush hour, is an exercise in contradictions: there is light and darkness, movement and stasis, rushing and waiting, arrival and departure, solitude and the masses, entering and exiting – all at the same time, creating an atmosphere that combines reality with the surreal. This book explores the Tokyo subway in gritty black and white images taken on film with a rangefinder.
This book has been months in the making, and I am so pleased to have it in publishable form at long last.
The book will be published in a limited print run of 250 copies. Please email me your mailing address at firstname.lastname@example.org after purchasing your copy of the book and I will send you a signed label to insert in the book.
Thank you and enjoy!
