Acerca del libro
Free Pine Cones is a fanciful verse-form poem about a pine cone breaking free from its tree and its family of cones. Other cones are eventually freed as well by a storm that shakes them loose. It is a children's poem and an allegory of the human condition.
Sample page:
One little pine cone said to the others,
"I've too many sisters and too many brothers.
I'd rather be different. I'd rather be free.
I'd like to get down from this prickly old tree."
