What We Love / Lo Que Amamos Voices of Students at Sydenham Public School
Voces de los Estudiantes de la Escuela Publica Sydenham
de Powers' Grade One/Two Kingston, Ontario, CANADA
Eighty-nine photographs and illustrations capture the heart of six and seven year-old students who have written a beautiful bilingual book for their amigos in rural Mexico. 'What We Love / Lo Que Amamos' is a joyful celebration of what it means to love our families and friends and what it means to love the special place we call home.
Anne Powers loves monarchs, mountains and Mexico. She is currently a primary teacher sharing her love of science and literacy in a small limestone school house. She is working on her Masters of Science in Science Education from Montana State University and continues to inspire her colleagues as the Co-Director of Monarch Teacher Network-Canada. She lives in Kingston, Ontario, Canada with her family.
