Acerca del libro
Why make photographic portraits? It's a question I've thought a lot about. I guess it's a way of communicating an impression of something, of someone. An emotion. A feeling. A mood. The implied and the explicit. Something familiar or something unknown. Portraits expose and conceal at the same time, there is an inbuilt conflict between the hidden and the revealed.
